THE CHARGE 산운교회 (sanwoon) 2010년 08월 06일 16시 46분 45초 586 *** 입당(헌당)예배 때 윈저제일교회 Rick목사님의 축사원문입니다 (2010.4.25) *** MY DEAR BROTHERS and sisters in Christ, let me begin by congratulating you upon the completion of your beautiful new church. 나의 사랑하는 성도, 형제 자매여러분,우선 여러분들의 이렇게 아름답고 훌륭한 교회가 완공되어 헌당예배를 드리게 됨을 축하 드립니다. It gives glory to God and my entire congregation back in Windsor, Connecticut, USA, joins me in rejoicing with you on this special occasion in the life of your church. 이 헌당은 하나님께 영광을 올리는 것이며, 미국 코네티커트에 있는 윈저 제일교회 온 성도들도 나와 더불어 살아 숨쉬는 산운 교회의 이 잔치에 함께 기뻐하고 축하하고 있습니다. It has been a pleasure and an honor to serve as your partner church over the course of the past twelve years. 지난 20년동안 형제로 지내온 우리 두교회는 이 예배를 진정으로 기쁘고 영광으로 생각합니다. Our partnership has been a blessing to both our churches and I look forward to making our partnership even stronger in the years that lie ahead. 우리 두교회의 우정은 두교회 각각의 축복이 되었고 앞으로도 우리의 관계가 더욱 긴밀하고 강화될것으로 믿어 의심치 않습니다. You have a beautiful, new church, but it is one thing to build a church and it is another thing to take care of it. 여러분들은 아름답고도 새로운 성전가지게 되었습니다. 그런데, 교회를 세우는 일과 교회를 돌보는 일은 다르다는 것을 잊지 마십시요. Today I charge you to be good “caretakers.” 오늘 이시간 나는 여러분들에게 선한 관리자가 되라고 주문하고싶습니다. First, I charge you to be good care takers of this building. 우선, 교회의 건물을 잘 보존하십시요. Never take this building for granted and always treat it with the reverence and respect that it deserves. 이 건물을 그저 건물로 여기지 말라는 것입니다. 경의심과 존경심을 가지고 이 건물을 다뤄주십시요. Second, I charge you to be good caretakers of your pastor. 두번째로, 여러분들은 목사님을 잘 보호해 주십시요 Your pastor is your spiritual leader. He works and prays tirelessly on your behalf. 목사님은 여러분들의 정신적 지도자입니다. 목사님은 당신들을 위해서 끊임없이 일하시고 기도하십니다. Make sure he continues to tak good care of himself and his family. 목사님도 자신을 돌봐야하고 그의 가족들(여러분을 포함해서)을 돌보실 겁니다. Pray for him constantly and be sure to tell him how much you appreciate his ministry among you. 지속적으로 목사님을 위해 기도해주시고, 목사님이 하시고 계시는 목회에 얼마나 감사하고 있는지를 주위 사람들에게 확실히 전해주십시요. Third, I charge you to be good caretakers of each other. 세번째로는, 서로서로에게 좋은 보호자들이 되어주십시요. No matter how beautiful a church may be it is hollow and empty without the fellowship of its people. 교회가 아무리 아름답다손 치더라도, 사람들 사이에 우정이 없으면, 빈수레요 빈 강정일뿐입니다. I charge you to care for one another like brothers and sisters should. Always remember that the most valuable asset of any church is its people. 친 형제 자매가 하듯이 그렇게 서로 돌봐 주라는 것입니다. Fourth, and finally, I charge you to be good caretakers of all who come to this church in need. 마지막으로, 진정으로 이 교회에 오는 자들을 돌봐주십시요. The purpose of a church is not only to worship God, but also to serve others—especially those who are among the most vulnerable members of society—the hungry, the homeless, the sick, and the stranger. 교회의 목적은 하나님께 예배를 드리는 것뿐아니라, 다른 사람–특히 사회에서 약한자들, 배고프고, 집없고, 병든자들, 방황하는 자들–을 돕고 봉사하는 것입니다 Use your new building not only to take care of each other, but also to take care of those who all too often do not receive the kind of care they need. 이 새로운 건물은 다른 사람들을 위해서 뿐만 아니라, 필요한 만큼의 보호를 받지 못한 자들을 위해 사용되어야 합니다. Again, congratulations from all the members and friends at the First Church in Windsor. 다시금, 윈저 제일교회 온 교우들과 친구들이 축하를 드립니다. May God continue to bless you richly and may you always be faithful “caretakers” of this building, of your pastor, of the members of one another, and of all those who turn to you in search of guidance, mercy, healing, and strength. 하나님께서 산운교회를 기름지게 축복하실겁니다. 여러분들은 이 교회의 관리인, 목사님의 관리인, 다른 사람들을 돌보는 관리인 그리고 하나님의 자비와 인도하심과, 병을 고치심과 강건함을 구하며 여러분들을 의지하는 모든 사람들의 관리자가 되십시요.
