빌립보서 2:5-8 닮아 가는 교회들
Philippians 2:5-8 "Resembling Church"
주님의 이름으로 문안드립니다.
이렇게 제가 5년만에 우리의 파트너 The First Church in Windsor를 다시 찾아올 수 있게 하신 주님께 감사 드립니다.
저는 이번에 Kyung-Gi Conference Family Mission Tower 팀26명과 함께 Connecticut Conference를 방문하게 되었습니다.
그리고 우리의 파트너 교회인 윈저제일교회를 방문하게 되었습니다.
이 모든 일이 주님의 은혜라고 생각합니다.
How are you in Christ?
First of all, thank God for my visiting again the First Church in Windsor as our partner since 1998. I come here with 26 members of Kyungki Conference Family Mission Tower. I think this meeting is God's benediction.
우리가 벌써 파트너교회가 된지도 6년이 지났습니다.
우리는 그 동안 그리스도 안에서 열심히 아름다운 사랑의 파트너관계를 유지 해 왔습니다.
우리는 그 동안 목회자, 평신도의 인적, 서신교류를 가져 왔습니다.
우리는 문화적으로 서로의 다른 모습을 인정합니다.
6 years have passed since we met as a partner. We have kept a good relationship in Christ. Pastors and church members of both churches have corresponded with each other. We try to understand each other even though we still have both cultural differences.
그러면서도 그리스도 안에서는 전혀 다르지 않음을 발견할 수 있었습니다.
꼭 우리는 이웃 같음을 느끼고 있습니다.
이것은 주님의 은혜입니다.
저는 이번 여행에서도 우리의 변함없는 사랑을 체험하리라 믿습니다.
제가 이렇게 윈저교회를 또 보고 싶어서 다시 찾은 것처럼 여러분들도 다시 우리교회를 찾아 주시기 길 원합니다.
In fact, in Christ, we have no differences. We feel we are neighbors. That is also God's benediction. I believe we will experience our endless love through this trip. As I come here again in order to meet you, so I hope you will also visit our church.
우리의 소원 가운데 하나가 좋은 사람 만나길 원한다는 것입니다.
좋은 친구, 좋은 이웃, 좋은 교인을 만나길 원합니다.
좋은 사람 만나는 것이 복이라고들 생각합니다.
많은 사람들은 그런 사람들을 만남으로 인해 나에게 어떤 좋은 일이 생기길 기대합니다.
그러나 이것은 잘못된 생각입니다.
One of our wishes is to meet good men such as good friends, good neighbors and good church members. So, meeting such good men is God's blessing. Sometimes, we expect a good thing will happen to me because of meeting such good men. But this thought is wrong.
우리는 이렇게 생각해야 합니다.
더 중요한 일은 내 자신이 이웃에게 좋은 사람이 되는 것입니다.
In fact, it is very important that I myself will become a good man for neighbors. That is really christian's mind as well as Jesus Christ's spirit.
내가 그들에게 얼마나 좋은 사람이 될 것인가를 생각할 수 있을 것인가를 생각해야 합니다.
이것이 주님의 마음이고 주님의 생각입니다.
이것이 크리스챤의 생각입니다.
We must become a partner who helps each other.
우리 파트너 관계는 서로를 위하는 마음으로 가득해야 합니다.
나를 통해서 어떻게 하면 미국의 교회가, 한국의 교회가 성장 할 것인가를 늘 생각해야 합니다.
We always have to think Korea churches and the US churches will be better by us. As you always pray for Hasanwoon church,
여러분들도 하산운교회를 위해 기도하시듯이 우리교회도 주일예배마다, 새벽기도회마다 저 미국 반대쪽에 있는 윈저교회와 목사님 성도들을 위해 기도합니다.
we also pray for your church whenever we have Sunday services every Sunday and dawn services everyday.
나로 인해 친구가 좋아지고,
나로 인해 이웃이 좋아지고,
나로 인해 교인이 좋아져야 합니다.
In fact. my friends will be better by me. My neighbors and My church members will also be better by me.
.하나님께서는 아브라함에게 너는 복의 근원이 되라고 하셨습니다.
창세기 12:2
Genesis 12:2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
"복의 근원" 이 얼마나 좋은 말입니까?
나로 인하여 많은 사람에게 기쁨을 주는 것입니다.
우리도 역시 아브라함과 같이 많은 사람의 복을 주는 사람이 되어야 합니다.
God said to Abraham, "I will make you into a great nation and I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. "Blessing" is the best word. The word will make us pleased by me. We will become a person who provides people with blessing like Abraham.
좋은 사람은 과연 어떤 사람입니까?
마음씨 좋은 사람?
행동이 바른 사람?
도덕적으로 분명한 사람?
Who is a real good man? A good character? A man who is kind? A moral man?
네 맞습니다. 틀리지는 않습니다만 성경의 답은 아닙니다.
Right. But judging from the Bible, it's not right.
그러나 성경에서의 좋은 사람은 예수님의 마음으로 사는 사람입니다.
세상에서 제일 좋은 마음은 예수 그리스도의 마음입니다.
우리는 예수님을 믿습니다.
The Bible says that a good man is a man who has Jesus Christ's spirit, which is the best spirit for us. We believe in God.
왜 믿습니까? 그것은 예수님의 마음을 닮아 가려는 것입니다.
예수님 닳은 자들은 이 세상에만 소망을 두지 않습니다.
주님이 다스리는 나라, 하나님이 주인인 나라 하나님의 나라를 바라보고 있습니다.
What is the faith? It is resembling Jesus Christ day by day. The christians who are resembling Jesus Christ must not put their wishes only in this world, but in the Heaven which God controls.
그러나 때론 우리의 마음에 그리스도를 닮으려는 마음보다는 세상을 닮아가려 합니다.
이것은 사탄의 마음입니다. 사탄은 쉬지않고 믿음의 사람들을 넘어뜨리려 합니다.
여기서 문제가 생기고 있는 것입니다.
예수 그리스도의 능력을 힘입어 늘 승리하시기 바랍니다.
Sometimes, we intend to follow our sin in this world more than to follow Jesus Christ's spirit. This is Satan's trick. In fact, the satan tries to fight against us to fall down us. The Satan's trick is the big problem with us. Then, we can overcome the Satan's trick with only God's spirit.
하나님은 인간을 창조하실 때 하나님의 형상으로 만드셨습니다.
그 이유는 사람들이 하나님의 마음, 생각을 닮으라고 그렇게 만드신 것입니다.
그래서 하나님은 우리를 당신 닮게 만드신 것입니다.
God created man according to his own image. Do you know why God created us according to the image of God? It is because God want us to resemble God's spirit.
인간창조는 진흙에 하나님의 영을 합친 것이 인간입니다.
하나님의 영이 빠져버린 인간은 진흙덩어리에 불과한 것입니다.
God formed man with dust of the ground and breathed living spirit into the man. So, If it were not for living spirit from us, we are only dust of the ground.
Romans 8:9
if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
"누구든지 그리스도의 영이 없으면 그리스도의 사람이 아니라"
이 말은 다시 말해 그리스도의 영이 없으면 사람도 아니라는 것입니다.
The Bible says, "if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ." That is to say, if we have God's spirit, we don't belong to God.
그리스도의 영이 없는 자는 얼마나 악할 수 있는지 아무도 모릅니다.
그리스도의 영이 없는 자는 욕심으로 가득하여 이기적이고, 공격적이고, 파괴적입니다.
오늘날 이 세상이 살기 어려운 이유도 그리스도의 마음을 잃어 버렸기 때문입니다.
Those who don't have God's spirit are too evil, too aggressive, too destructive and too selfish because they have lots of greed. Do you know why we are suffering mental and physical pain in the world? The reason is that we lost God's spirit, to begin with.
아담과 하와가 하나님의 영이 있을 때는"이는 내 뼈중에 뼈요 살 중에 살이라"
"The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh "
라고 말했으나 죄로 인하여 하나님의 영이 빠져 버린 인간은 자기의 죄를 서로에게 미루고 덮어 씌우게 되었습니다.
The bible says, "Adam said, This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh." But when Adam, who lost God's mind, laid the responsibility for his sin onto his wife.
파스칼은 말하길 "인간은 생각하는 갈대다"라 했습니다.
이 말은 사람은 보이는 외모보다는 생각으로 산다는 뜻입니다.
Pascal said, "Human is a thinking reed." This means that human lives with thought but not with physical form.
생각은 마음에서 나옵니다.
마음은 하나님의 영의 영향받아 생각이 아름다운 사람이 되어야 합니다.
우리 양 교회는 주님의 영으로 아름다운 생각으로 주의 귀한 협력자가 되기를 바랍니다.
Thought comes from spirit. In fact, our spirit must come from God's spirit.
Both churches keep God's spirit in order to cooperate each other.
한국속담에 "부부는 살면서 닮는다"라는 말이 있습니다.
처음엔 모든 것이 달랐는데 살아가면서 생각과 말과 행동과 심지어 얼굴 모습까지도 닮는다는 것입니다. 이런 가정은 행복합니다.
A korean proverb says, "A husband and his wife are resembling more and more day by day. As you know, when they married, they were different in various respects such as character, habit, customs and so on, After their marriage, they were resembling each other in their all differences and even their actions and faces. Then, this family must be happy.
그러나 반대로 갈수록 달라지는 부부도 있습니다.
그래서 결국은 헤어지게 됨을 볼 수 있습니다.
이런 가정은 불행하게 됩니다.
On the contrary, if they were not resembling each other in all the points, in the end, they broke their family and divorced themselves. This family must be not happy.
우리는 갈수록 닮아져 그리스도의 영광을 나타내어야 합니다.
우리는 예수 믿을수록 예수님과 닮아가야 합니다.
We must be resembling each other in Christ and try to show God's glory. The longer we believe in God, the more we resemble Jesus Christ.
예수 닮은 윈저교회 성도들과 예수 닮은 한국의 하산운교회 성도가 될 수 있길 바랍니다.
그래서 윈저교회와 하산운교회가 그리스도 안에서 생각과 행동과 모습이 같아지기를 바랍니다.
생각이 같으면 일을 같이 할 수 있습니다.
앞으로 우리는 함께 힘을 합쳐 좀더 귀한 일을 같이 할 수 있길 기대합니다.
하나님의 선교를 함께 할 수 있길 기대합니다.
I believe the Windsor church in the US and the Hasanwoon in Korea are resembling the church with Jesus Christ day by day. So both churches will be similar in many things in Christ. Because we have the same spirit, so, we will do the same activities. In the future, we can do anything in cooperation.
본문에 보면 주님의 마음이 잘 나타나 있습니다.
주님은 우리와 위하여 높은 하늘의 자리를 버리시고 인간의 낮은 자리로 오셨습니다.
From today's bible, we know well God's spirit. Jesus Christ came here instead of his Heaven. It is not easy to give up his glorious position.
높은 자리를 버리고 낮은 자리로 온다는 것이 쉽지 않습니다. 그러나 대화는 위에서부터 손을 내 밀어야 가능합니다.
So, all the conversation and counselling is possible when we come down here like Jesus Christ.
우리 양 교회도 이런 주님의 대화의 자세를 늘 간직해야 합니다.
내려가서 허리를 굽히고 믿지 않는 사람들에게 섬기는 자의 본을 보여야 합니다
We, two churches, must keep this spirit. We must bend down to others who are not Christians and show our actions as a service man like Jesus Christ.
우리교회는 교회설립 된지 27년 되었습니다.
저는 14년째 시무하고 있습니다.
The Hasanwoon Church was founded 27 years ago. 14 years have passed since I came to my church.
교회 주변은 매우 낙후 되어있습니다.
그런데 아마도 내년부터는 교회 주변이 철거 될것입니다.
그 지역에 새도시가 건설될 예정입니다.
In fact, my church is underdeveloping, and church building will be broken next year. In our church's area, the new town will be constructed.
우리교회도 다시 지어야 합니다. 위해서 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.
많은 성도들이 교회를 어떻게 지어야 하나, 돈은 어디서 구하나 염려하고 있습니다.
so, we have to rebuild our church. I hope you to pray for my church. Some members said, " How will we rebuild because of lack of money?"
그러나 저는 교회당 건축은 우리 주님이 해결해 주실 줄 믿습니다.
마6:33 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라 (But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.)
I said, "No problem. Only God will solve all the problems for making our church building as his house." The Bible says, "But seek first his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
한국은 지금 급격히 노인 층이 늘어나고 있습니다.
우리교회 주변에도 노인들이 많습니다.
The number of old people are increasing in Korea like the US. There are many old people in our church's surroundings.
갈곳이 없습니다.
이 분들은 친구가 필요합니다.
특히 젊은 친구가 필요합니다. 젊은이들과 대화를 원하고 있습니다.
There is no place to go. There is no friends to play with. They need their friends, especially young friends. They want to talk to young men.
우리교회는 이런 분들은 섬기기 시작했습니다.
노인의 집으로 매주 목요일이면 교회 성도들이 식사를 해 가지고 갑니다.
약 80명 정도가 식사를 하고 있습니다.
So our church decided to serve the old people. We visit the house built for old people with lunch every Thursday in order to lunch 80 old people.
그 분들이 얼마나 좋아하는지 모릅니다.
우리는 올해까지 3년이나 이 일을 계속 해 오고 있습니다.
They feel very very happy. 3 years have passed since we started to serve them.
저녁엔 어려운 학생들을 가르치고 있습니다.
장소를 대여 해 주고 있습니다.
학생들은 집이 좁아서 공부 할 방이 없습니다.
또한 직장 생활하는 부부를 위해 어린이 탁아방을 하고 있습니다.
In addition, we teach some students in our church. They have no room to study by them selvs freely because their house is too small. There are some parents have to keep their jobs. So, they can't take care of their kids. Then any problem. will happen in their kids. Our church also takes good care of their children with educated teachers.
이런 일을 하는 이유는 바로 주님을 닮으려는 노력입니다.
이 일은 어려운 이웃에게 친히 오신 주님의 조그만 사랑의 실천입니다.
Our church is resembling God's spirit and mind like this. As Jesus Christ came to the poor as his friends, in person, our church tries to practices Jesus Christ's spirit a little.
교회당 건축하는 일보다 더 중요한 것은 이런 주님의 일을 계속 하는데 있습니다.
건물보다 주님의 일이 먼저입니다.
Our church thinks these practices are more important than our church building to be constructed in the future.
이제 윈저교회와 하산운교회도 공동으로 할 수 있는 어떤 프로그램을 개발 할 수 있기를 원합니다. 이는 매우 어려운 일이나 해야 할 일입니다.
이렇게 교우들의 왕래가 앞으로 큰일을 하게 될 계기가 되리라 믿습니다.
주님의 은총이 온 성도들과 가정과 교회 위에 함께 하시길 바랍니다.
Now, we will take a step to do God's job in cooperation with both churches and develop new programs. This is very difficult. and we have to do it. This cooperation will make good fruits. I believe God will bless you and your family.
기도
사랑의 하나님
우리 모두 주님의 마음을 갖길 원합니다.
주님을 닮길 원합니다.
주님처럼 섬기며 살길 원합니다.
양 교회가 주님의 마음으로 파트너 관계를 잘 이어가게 하옵소서
양 교회가 앞으로 더 큰일을 할 수 있도록 도와 주옵소서
예수님의 이름으로 기도 합니다. 아멘.
We hope to have your spirit.
We hope to resemble you.
We hope to live with you.
We hope for both churches to have such good relationship forever.
We hope for both churches to do many jobs in Christ.
